Ray Epps

Ray Epps. A name that has been broadcasted across all media platforms over the past two years. A name we have come to be familiar with since the January 6th insurrection. This will be a blog post that I come back to a lot in the future to add to. This will be a blog post where I post everything I personally know about Ray Epps and at the end you will be able to have your own outlook on who Ray Epps is.

On January 5th 2021 there were a million MAGA Patriots in downtown Washington waiting to see what was about to happen in about 16 hours. Around that time there was a man that we found out afterwards through all the video footage taken, there was a man later identified as Ray Epps that was trying to get the crowd to “we need to go into the Capitol”. You hear many BOOS in the background which was expected. He shows up in multiple videos. But who really is he?

Why is Epps believed to be an FBI informant? Epps appeared on video inciting Trump supporters to storm the Capitol and assaulting a police officer, yet he was never arrested and charged. Quite a contrast with more than a hundred Trump supporters who were arrested for merely walking into the Capitol. For readers outside the United States, I want to ensure you understand the expression, “If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it is a duck!” The “duck” with respect to Ray Epps strongly suggests that he was collaborating with the FBI or acting at their direction.
